Tilemachos Moussas<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tilemachos Moussas, is an Athens based composer, guitarist, multinstrumentalist, educator.<\/p>\n

He is invested in the creation and performance of subversive music, from instant composing and avant garde. He creates, performs and produces experimental music and opera -theater that fuses the musicality of speech, poetry, classical music, jazz and electronic sound art.<\/p>\n

He is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Music Studies of Athens University and he holds a Master of Music from the same department, he also holds a Bachelor in Educational Studies and a Bachelor in the Science of Agronomy.<\/p>\n

He has composed music for theater, dance & films and has collaborated with institutions such as Brooklyn Academy of Music, Stanford University’s CCRMA, \u00a0IRCAM Centre Pompidou, Pina Bausch’s Tanztheater Wuppertal, Operadagen Festival, Athens & Epidaurus Festival, National\u00a0 Theater of Greece, National Opera of Greece, The Athens Concert Hall,\u00a0 Onassis STEGI,\u00a0 Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Cyprus Theater Organization, TedX University of Piraeus and more.<\/p>\n

He is a founding member of the ODC theater company.<\/p>\n

He has received the International “Music Theater Now 2018” Award and has been awarded the 1st Prize at the Be Festival of Birmingham.<\/p>\n

He has performed at international festivals and venues such as Copenhagen Opera Festival, BAM\/NYC, Aalborg Opera Festival, Operadagen Festival of Rotterdam, Neukollner Oper Berlin, Singapore Arts Festival, Musiktheatertage Wien, Malta Cultural Capital of Europe, SANI Jazz Festival and more.<\/p>\n

He has worked with many important musicians such as:<\/strong>
\nDamo Suzuki, Savina Yannatou, Blaine Reininger, Julia Kent, Pamelia (Stickney) Kurstin, Misha Piatigorsky, Lena Norin, Michel Hatzigeorgiou, Missirli Ahmet, George Kontrafouris, Georgia Sylleou, Thanos Anestopoulos, K. Maginas, M.Voumvaki, D. Kamarotos, Nikos Giousef and has performed with artists such as Chico Freeman, Sheila Jordan, Jerome Rothenberg .
\nTilemachos and his band have played as guest in concerts for bands and musicians such as:
\nAnouar Brahem, Nouvelle Vague, Brendan Perry (Dead Can Dance), Ozric Tentacles, Manhattan Vibes etc.<\/p>\n

He has performed with bands such as Ble, Ypogeia Revmata, Xaxakes, LoveLab, Acetic Voice, Medieval Death.<\/p>\n

Tilemachos composed the music for several plays and performances such as:<\/strong><\/p>\n
